Myriam Wares is a Montreal-based illustrator. Fond of surreal imagery and symbolism, Myriam often incorporates these into her work. Among her influences she counts Medieval artists such as Hieronymus Bosch, and illustrators such as M.C. Escher. These influences have pushed her to experiment with composition and perspective in her work.
As a visual artist, Myriam is as capable in traditional media as she is in digital media. With an interest for both graphic and classical art, she often mixes organic and graphic elements in her work.
Passionate about anything and everything in the realm of visual art and image-creation, she looks forward to a future where she can apply her passion professionally as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer.
